[RC] Question for ya, Karl (Dixie Midnight) - Kristi Schaaf

I use DM's, have for years...my question for Karl is
this. I discovered that my horse is the most
comfortable if I ride in my western endurance saddle
with ONLY a DM under it. He moves better, his back is
drier, etc. That said, I really really would hate to
have to replace my wool underside of my saddle because
it got sticky/sweaty. I know that the DM kept my pads
clean, but I never studied closely how clean they were
after a ride, and occasionally they were used without
the DM so they're not perfectly clean. Karl, do I dare
ride in just my saddle and the DM, with no other pad?
Will it absolutely positively keep sweat off my saddle
wool? Or should I tinker with a thin pad such as a
navajo to be safe? Thanks, Kristi

Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off)
