Re: [RC] Washing String/Mohair Girths - Steven Proe

Hi Folks: I use Downey Fabric Softener on all my fabric tack. Clean the tack first and the let it soak for about 15 minutes, then wash and dry. Great for nylon also soak another 5 minutes.

hope this helps

Subject: [RC] Washing String/Mohair Girths

Anyone have suggestions for what to use to wash string/mohair girths to get them nice and soft?  I've tried a number of things, but nothing seems to get them really soft.  Any ideas?
