Re: [RC] Conditioning on hard packed gravel roads - Lucky6mule

I have to ride HARD gravel roads to & from any fields I can ride. I switched to Ground Control shoes (composit-plastic) a few years ago & could tell on the 1st ride that my mules appreciated them a lot. They started moving better right away. I use them on the horses too. I use them on the fronts only with steel or nothing behind, the back feet seem to need to have a little 'slip' which the plastic won't allow. A word of caution--if your horse needs a little 'slip' for their fronts, these aren't the shoes for him.
