My horse hates dogs and I'm wondering if any one has any suggestions that 
might help her tolerate them better? I have a Great Dane who gets along 
great with my other horses, but my mustang mare hates him. She ignores him 
if he stays away from the fence, but if he gets too close she'll rush the 
fence with her ears pinned and her teeth bared. The other day on the trail a 
neighbor's dog ran up to us and she acted like she wanted to strike him. 
Luckily she responded to me and I could control her - I just distracted her 
by doing some leg yields and exercises, but it definitely concerned me. The 
BLM trainers tell me it's not unusual for mustangs to have an aversion to 
dogs and cats because they seem like coyotes and cougars, but I'd like her 
to learn to ignore them. Any ideas??
