Unfortunately, Sandy didn't seem to be in a situation shwere she could quantify whether he was drinking "a lot" of water, or just drinking "often."  So it's hard to say if this is a concern or not.  I agree--if he is drinking "a lot" and not just "often" that's another concern.  But if he is just sipping frequently, it could be that he is just trying to sooth a lesion of some sort in his mouth.

Something no one has touched upon yet is the increased water intake, which
concerns me. Perhaps Cushing's could also be part of the problem?
