RE: [RC] Spring fever in January - Jim Holland

Poor baby!  J  Here it’s 70 degrees and bright sunshine…in the middle JANUARY in the North Georgia Mountains.  A new record I think….the weather is unbelievable this year.

And here on the CA coast, it's raining.....AGAIN.  Trails are a mess, and those that aren't blocked by downed trees are too slippery and muddy to ride.

Hey everybody,

It's a sunshiny and calm day here, perfect for riding.  It's a strange winter so far...very dry, we sure could use some snow.

As a certified newbie, I'm looking forward to going to my first endurance ride, so please be assured I'm one of the many (I'm sure most) newbies who appreciate all the advice, friendliness, and years of experience on this list.  Rest assured I won't be trying to break any speed records, well, maybe I will, for slowest speed on record for a first 50... and believe me, I can do it!

Thanks, and Happy New Year to all -
