I
leave my windows open just enough for the creeps who want to break-in to get in
without breaking my window or punching out my locks. 'Course I usually have the
oldest "poorest" looking truck in the lot as well. That helps (:>). One time
they, the creeps who break-in, punched out the locks on my two riding buddies'
vehicles and left mine alone. I do now leave my purse at home, use a fanny pack
for any money, credit cards, DL, etc, and leave nothing of value in my truck.
The rangers told me recently that they often have reports of break-ins at the
Knickerbocker staging area as well. No place is safe......

FYI, I was at Cronin Ranch near Cool CA on Saturday the 7th.
Within the 1.5 hours I was there, at least 4 cars were broken into. I am
tempted just to leave my windows down so they don't break my windows....
