My gelding was difficult to shoe... not really bad, but he kept pulling his feet away and dancing around while the nailing was being done. My shoer changed to a thinner nail (don't know how to word that, but a nail not as fat as his usual nails) and now my gelding falls asleep when the shoes go on.
