[RC] Skin So Soft or any oil based repellant - pat holsebekeHi all. A work of warning about oil based fly repellants. They will cause severe sun burn if not careful. I learned this the hard way when I used SSS mixed with some other oil based spray. My poor old paint mare had sun burn so bad her skin peeled for weeks and I stood and hosed her neck where the worse seemed to be. She just sighed and put her head on my shoulder. She was mostly white and there for pink skinned. I did put Coppertone on her nose to keep that from sun burn but never realized until to late that the oil can cause severe burning.
