[RC] Derby Drug Testing - Ridecamp Guest

Please Reply to: Buddy Gleason glea6826@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
==========================================

Every Derby horse will be tested for an illegal substance known as a
"milkshake", so named for its resemblance to the dairy dessert. The mixture of
baking soda, sugar and some electrolytes increases the carbon dioxide level in
a horse's blood stream, ostensibly fending off fatigue. Because the substance
is tougher to detect when the horse gets tired, the blood test must be
administered before the race. Interesting?????Buddy
