[RC] Epics rubbing - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I have also had problems with rubs, but have found some solutions. The new
gaiter with the smooth folded seams instead of the overstitched style is much
better. The new ones are available from Easycare and can be applied to your
current boots without too many curses. No rubs so far.

Also I'm experimenting with an insole cut from a farrier's pad blank. It takes
up some of the extra space since my horse seems to be between a #0 and #1.

I also use a 6" piece of duct tape applied to the hoof just below the coronary
band to prevent the rubbing there. It works. I apply it so that it's smooth,
and of course it doesn't follow the coronary band perfectly but does the job.

Apparently it's not a perfect world, so we have to keep trying to improve it.
Bill
