At my eye doctor’s recommendation I
only wear POLARIZED sunglasses. I choose amber lenses so I can wear them whether
I’m out in the sun, or in the woods. I don’t have to take them off
unless it’s getting on towards twilight. You can find polarized glasses
pretty cheap these days. My biggest challenge is finding some that work with
my Tipperary Sportage... it wraps around behind my ears better than other
brands, making it difficult to keep glasses from sliding down my nose unless
they have a particular type of earpiece.
I also wear a 4” Cashel Brim on my
helmet... that little one on the TS helmet isn’t worth crap (IMHO).

I ride in prescription sunglasses
100% of the time....well, except if I ride in the dark. ;-) Then I
ride in prescription glasses. Have not wore contacts in....20 years or
so. Oh, and I have a larger brim on my helmet for rides.
