Because the horse that is drinking will stop drinking.  that is similar to
those who barge in next to a drinking horse and uset it so that it stops
drinking too. That is the WORST kind of sportsmanship in my view.

Why is it proper ettiquette to stop while someone else's horse is drinking
if it is a race? I never understood that.
