About 2 weeks ago she came up with swelling at the back of both her rear legs just above and along sides of the fetlocks. She was not lame, and is not sore. No flinch when palpated, and has no heat. The swelling/ fill is soft and does not get better with stall rest/ or go away when exercised. I gave her a week off from any riding. No change.
Sounds like a case of "wind puffs," Karen.  If you are not familiar with them, in most cases the wind puffs can be considered "cosmetic" in effect.
