When I was at the Equine Affair, there was a company selling headlamps that
hook onto your horse's breastcollar. They said that they actually help the
horse and rider to see better without the blinding glare and excessive
movement of the lamps that you wear on your head.

onto a helmet, but with a strong beam. Some of the lcd lights don't cast
enough light to really see ahead when it's pitch black.
