Re: [RC] Lighting - tom noll

Steph et al:

The Ultrarunning Resource website has the compilation of several discussions
and lighting has been a topic several times. The general web address is:

  http://www.ultrunr.com/

and the lighting address is:

  http://www.ultrunr.com/lighting.html

There have been numerous discussions on other topics that various endurance
riders might find interesting.

My personal preference is not to use a light for night riding, but I do keep
a red LED Photon Microlight on a string around my neck and I use the red LED
light to check tack or to read trail signs. Generally, I try to rely on my
night vision and ride in a centered position. On a long 100, I wear
sunglasses during the bright daylight hours to preserve my night vision.
Night riding can be the best part of a 100!

Best Regards,

Tom Noll
