[RC] Last Minute Speech - Bruce Weary

Paddi-
Take a deep breath. One thing I've learned about public speaking is that when you are talking about something you are both passionate and knowledgeable about, you will have more than enough to say. Maybe review the AERC Rider's Handbook, the Tevis website has some info on preparing for the ride, and leave plenty of time for questions. Unlikely they will ask you anything you don't know, and their questions will likely cause topics to arise in your head to talk further about.
Jerry Seinfeld says that most people are more afraid of public speaking than they are of death itself. According to him, this means people would rather be in the casket than doing the eulogy. Go figure. You'll do great. Dr Q, world renowned expert on last minute speeches.
