Re: [RC] Skito pads and english saddles - Jessica Spoone-Raines

I have a skito pad that I have had for probably close to 3 years now, it has the cordura top and has held up very well. I have 1 spot on the bottom maybe 2 inches across where the fleece has rubbed off but other than that I wash it and it looks brand new. I have washed it LOTS also. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another and in fact plan to buy a new cover for it as soon as I can. I ride in an australian saddle so I can't comment on how it works with an english saddle.

I have two Skito pads.  I bought one.  It has not held up worth a darn.  The pads themselves have "fallen to pieces".  The sweat must have rotted them....then there is the pad.  The material on the top side, the denim type, it has worn all apart as well.  Yes, I have taken it apart and washed it.  Plenty of times to keep the sweat/salt from eating it up.  Maybe I washed it too much.  Point is, I would never buy another one.  IT wasn't worth the price, for the comfort and wear that I got from it.  The other I have, was given to me.  So far, it has held up much better.  Time will tell.
