[RC] Sitting the trot - Ridecamp Guest

Please Reply to: Sarah ximera2@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
==========================================

I'm a complete newbie to this sport -- considering riding an LD this summer. I
was reading this article:

www.endurance.net/Stories/ShowStory.asp?Counter=154

Several people in it say they don't ever sit the trot during an endurance ride.
Is that because sitting the trot might make the horse back sore, or is it
because sitting isn't comfortable at the pace you're keeping?
