Some riders who travel alone, get a break from a non-participating
spouse (or vice-versa) for a weekend. < AND FOR THOSE OF US THAT ALSO GET TO LEAVE OUR KIDS AT HOME..........PRICELESS!!!

Being able to get away for a weekend ( and I still think it is so cool to just load your horse into the trailer and bring him/her with you) and just relax, ride and enjoy your horse is why I do endurance. Marked trails, vet supervision, company.....ride managers please keep on doing what you do - charge what it takes - cause in the overall scheme of things, paying to go to an endurance ride is a very small price to pay to be able to do what we do.
