[RC] Non-Competitive Distance Riders? - Jonni

Debra asked: >>>I'm wondering if there are any other
non-racing/non-competitive distance riders on this list?<<<

Actually, I'd guess that a lot of the riders on this list would consider
themselves to be in that group. They just happen to go to organized rides
often, that have measured distances. Remember, you do not have to "race" at
an endurance ride. And some who compete at CTR's (Competitive Trail Rides
(like NATRC) do so just to have a marked trail laid out for them, in an area
they may not ever be able to ride in otherwise.

We used to love to go camping for a long weekend in the Sierras when we
lived in CA, and go ride for 20 + miles each day just because we could. I'd
guess other riders do the same. We do long rides for fun, and for
conditioning in between going to "organized" endurance or CTR's.
