[RC] RC:Calories Burnt Riding - Nik Isahak Abdullah

Truman, you are just partly correct. As our level of skills improve we burn less in riding due to efficient muscle utilisation and optimisation and balance etc etc but that is just part of the story. But we grow older our body become more efficient in energy utilisation as well, our basal metabolic rate decreases finitely thus we to maintain the same weight ,say 10 years back , we need to downscale our intake and upscale our activity.Must have been part of man's evolutionary programme millinium of years back when we were 'hunter gatherers'
A difficult task as our movements are finitely slower overall and all those 'social' drinks and 'dinners ' increases with social mobility and 'responsibility'.
