Re: [RC] diagonals - Jody Rogers-Buttram

Ok Angie....My horses I raised, they mostly have the manes on the *wrong* side....that is a Jet trait.  Cash pony has his mane sticking straight up and falling to both sides  (guess that means his is right in the middle)   and NONE of them have a foot bigger than the other.

In the old Tony Gonzales horse shoeing book he claimed that the horse would have the bigger foot on his favorite side, and his mane would fall to his "low" or unfavored side. So...go check your horses and see if it's so. I've not noticed Kaboot having the "big foot/little foot" but his favorite is his left, and his mane falls to the right... who knows. My new horse, Gunner's mane falls to the right, the left is his favorite diagonal. Coincidence or pattern? ;-)

OK, I didn't start this thread to hear myself talk. Those of you who have had lots of expensive lessons...what can I feel for, or watch for, to make myself more even? Dennis? Tell your wife we requested a comment specifically from you.

Angie
