Just wanted to share with you all that Betty Edgar spent a whole day 
last week letting me yak my head off and stare at her horses and sit by 
her fire just because I told her how much I wanted to learn about 
endurance and meet experienced riders.  I was down her way because both 
of my healthy-all-their-lives-too-young-to-be-sick-parents had terrible 
medical emergencies.  I really needed an ear--thank you Betty.  And 
wow, what a beautiful place.  Anyone who gets to see her operation will 
drool.  And your horses will want to leave you and go live with her.  
And she won't want them because she has two beauties of her own.
