[RC] Shagya-bred horses' National Ride ! - rides2far

OK, apparently Carolyn Tucker rode him and checking her record is a
better way to get the info. I know some people think we're just being
"condescending" when we keep flipping to the AERC records to learn what
we can about the person we're addressing, but it isn't always to "win an
argument"...it can just be helpful to understand where they're coming
from.

Maybe you think I want to look at Oman's record to "look down on him"
for only having 200 career miles, but I am NOT. From what I've heard of
him he was an awesome horse who died too young. He started Tevis 3 times
but didn't complete. HOWEVER She did start him! I admire her for taking a
horse that was obviously that valuable and using him. He proved he had
what it takes by siring horses that went on to win for him.

I do wish the Shagya owners & riders the best. I'm sure Dennis is not
their hospitality chairman.
