[RC] Cloning - Truman - Ridecamp Guest

Truman - "would you please tell me what is "unnatural" about it."

When I said, "Stick with Mother Nature's plan, As for me I'll just stick with 
MULES. :-)" This statement was meant in jest. Mother Natural very rarely makes 
a mule. One of man's hybrids and my preferred ride. I guess should have made my 
smiley bigger.

My real opinion of cloning is that the majority of horse owners are in it for 
the love of horses. When all in said and done, some mistakes may be made and we 
will learn from them. The majority will look at the information gained and act 
in the best interest of horses. They have been cloning mules for several years 
now. It's not the same. There is no risk to a gene pool with a sterile hybrid. 
Cloning may turn out to be the best thing that ever happen, the worst thing, or 
have no real effect. Time will tell !

Should they try? They're are going to try anyway.
