While Dixie Midnight denies it,
there is some pretty good evidence that the pads are made from plasticized
vinyl. This is significant because some other horse tack is also. A
horse that reacts this way, may also react to the Wintec Waffle Weave
girths.
Yes, I know that Wintec Waffle
Weave girths are commonly lumped together with "Neoprene" girths. They are
vinyl and a completely different chemistry. Not worse, or better, just
different.
