If science could use cloning to alleviate the miseries of cancer, 
Alzheimer's, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's, etc., wouldn't that be 
wonderful.  I don't see any great redeeming value of having to suffer the 
pain, anxiety, misery and tragedy of some of the awful diseases we have 
nowadays.  In the "old days", most people didn't live long enough to have to 
suffer these diseases.  There were other diseases that killed them much more 
quickly.  JMO
