[RC] skito dryback - Kathie Ford

I have two of those pads and like them very much. Horses never had sore backs at all. I do tend to ride light in the saddle though even when walking.

However, I did first season, just prior to shed time see some lion rubs. I cut back the foam inserts a bit inside and that took care of it. Never saw it again with her new coat.  But this year started slightly again same spots.  So I temporarily took out the inserts and that worked.  She had gained weight as well so figured between the two saddle fit slightly changed.

But don't really understand why the rubs just prior to shedding and then nothing.  Very weird.  But no problems, no soreness, nothing.  In fact I always get complements on how good her back looks.

Hope the input helps.
