Please Reply to: Karen Nelson knelson4299@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
==========================================

Need: Old toothbrush
     Tubes of Neosporin

Clean hoof and crack, getting out all dirt and sane you can- Make sure hoof is
VERY dry.  Apply Neosporin.
Repeat about every other day, cleaning off the sand/dirt the Neosporin will
pick up.
Watch to see if the crack continues to travel. If it does, have your farrier
cut a "T" across the top of the crack.
Neosporin usually will reduce the brittleness that is part of the problem.
Worked on a friend's Peruvian Paso who had chronic quarter cracks.
