Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] Study on electrolyte/ulcers - Jessica Spoone-Raines

I might have missed this in the discussion someplace so please forgive me if I did. What are the signs of a horse needing e-lyting? I have done up to 20 miles of trot/canter trails so far (haven't made it to a ride yet) and have never e-lyted my horse. I do plan on at least doing 50's with this guy and maybe 100's so I would like to know what to watch for so I know if he needs them to help perform better. After the 20 miles we did a couple weeks ago he was down in the 40's (hr) in about 10 mins and was tearing into his hay and beetpulp, still very energetic and ready to go.
