[RC] herd bound, buddy sour, etc. - Ed Kilpatrick

i know ya'll probably get tired of hearing it, but teach your horse lateral flexions/one rein stops.   i am not talking about circling.  i mean teach the horse that the lateral flexions/one rein stops means  STOP MOVING YOUR FEET, STAND STILL, and RELAX!     then, any time your horse acts up, i.e.  tries to spin around, go back to the barn, rear up, crow hop, shy away from objects, wont cross the creek, wont go by the garbage barrel, you name it, you can fix it.    some horses require A LOT more patience than others when using this technique, but it works, and it works very well.
