Re: [RC] Horse buying woes - Sisu West Ranch

If you are willing to take a chance on the killer buyers, you can always take a horse to a local all breed, non-cataloged, horse auction.  The buyers will only be supplied with whatever description of the horses good points you have supplied tha auction company.

Since people either know, or should know, that horse auctions are a good place to find cheap horses that often have a problem to be fixed, you will not have mislead anyone.

Life is to short to spend it fooling with a horse you don't like because you don't feel he is saleable.

An alternative is to eat you losses, and advertise him honestly for a real bargan price.  In this case sell with a bill of sale in which the buyer acknowleges the problems and agrees not to bring the horse back to you.
