[RC] Commute - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I commute 50 miles one-way to work; two thirds of it on busy
freeways; commute in the morning is an hour, in evening 1 to one
and a half hours. Twenty minute drive from house to horse. If
I am doing flat land work, can ride him from there to trails and
creekbeds. If I want to go to the Tevis Trail area, 1 1/2 hour
one way. Hour and 45 min drive to farrier (I found a good one,
and am willing to drive to him. Shaba is worth it. Have tried
local ones; scary experience. Plus current one does endurance,
has several Tevis buckles, and knows what to do to keep my guy
sound for the type of riding I do). Same with my vet. Local
one told me I was crazy when my horse was ribby and I wanted to
get his teeth floated. Took him to a GOOD vet and found he had
points in the back where I couldn't see poking his mouth
inside. Hour and a half drive to him. I am a drivin' fool......

Lauretta and Shaba (who commutes a whole five feet to and from
his food)
