[RC] Young Ride/Junior FEI Endurance Competitions - Steph Teeter

Attention Young Riders (16-21) and Juniors (14-18)!

Argentina is going to host the World Endurance Championship for Young Riders and Juniors on March 17, 2007. It will be held at La Paloma - very close to Buenos Aires.

 FE1_ARG024_07 17/03 - 17/03/07 CH-M-YR-J-E Eizeiza (Buenos Aires) (ARG)

There will be horses available for lease, or you can travel with your own horse. NOW is the time to start thinking about it - preparing - and qualifying. (see qualifications below)

Owyhee 100 (May 20, Oreana Idaho) (http://www.endurance.net/oreana/owyhee100) will be including YR and J  divisions - 80km, 120km and 160km  .  75 miles will be the WEC distance in Argentina, so in order to use this ride as your qualification for the World Championship, you must enter either the 75 or the 100 mile distances.

And if you contact the other FEI ride organizers for 2006, maybe they will add YR and J divisions too. Lets take our Young Riders to Argentina!

**See below - definition of Young Rider, and Junior
**And - qualifications for Championships - requirments for horse and rider (and you must also join USEF www.usef.org)

I will try to put together a webpage with all of the info that you need, and link it from Endurance Net.

:)
