Catch up Ginny. I was answering a question not asking one.

April,

Are you asking about the safe size of a coral at an endurance ride, for
trail camping, or in combination with stall or shelter for 24/7/365
confinement, except when riding? These different circumstances would each
require a different size coral. Also are you referring to the size that
is
required, by law or endurance rules, or the size that is best for your
horse
-- proper care? There are different rules and guidelines that apply in
different situations. Also safe from or for what purpose? Safe enough to
prevent a horse from jumping out? Safe enough to prevent a wolf from
jumping in? Safe enough to do ground training such as in a round pen?
Again, the correct coral size depends upon function and purpose.
Furthermore, the way in which a coral is constructed also has an effect
upon
size -- a rope coral, a wood fence & post coral, a portable coral, a
heavier
stell coral? These all have different size requirements depending upon
many
other factors I haven't even listed!

Please be more specific.

He is 15.2. He doesn't roll n a stall or in a stall size fence. I take
him
for a walk and let him roll after a ride, before he gets "stalled." He
has
never been to an endurance ride, but he has done plenty of trail camping
this way.
Anybody with more experience wanna jump in here????
Debbie, Can you send me a copy of the rule? What park is it?
April
