[RC] Micrograms to ml - katswig@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

anybody know how many micrograms to one ml? a
friend just called and is trying to find out as
she's supposed to give her horse some med. in ml but
it came with a microgram measurer.

Since one is a measurement of volume and the other is a measurement of
weight, the conversion depends upon how many "pounds per cubic inch"
whatever the material is.

For water (at sea level and some specified temperature that I don't
remember), the conversion is 1:1.

For most liquid medications, using this conversion is probably perfectly
adequate (if it isn't, then the manufacturer/distributor of the medication
should have provided an adequate way for measuring it).
