[RC] horselists - larry Miller

I always felt that having horses in the barn taught my kids responsibility. They helped me clean stalls, put up hay, unload the sawdust, I could go on. They were and still are great kids (38 and 35), still give me lectures when they ride with me "don't go slow Mom", and I don't believe I ever read books or magazines either. I just did what was comfortable for me in my dealings with them. Some of my best memories occurred with those kids on their horses and ponies and our races back to the barn. Shane on Lucky the plucky pony always beat me hands down cause he could manuver the skinny tree lined trail and gully faster than I! Shane crewing for me is another great memory and those highschool teenage years when Sally Ann rode with me and baby sat me thru the rides on the young horse cannot be beat. Tracey, you have more good memories on the way. Jeanie
