[RC] Owyhee 100 - John Teeter

The Owyhee 100 is 10 weeks away. A few advance comments (those not coming to
ride are welcome to come and watch!!:)

a) it is and AERC and FEI event

b) The AERC portion has three divisions (100, 50, and 50->100 elevator)

c) FEI has 4 divisions (CEI***, CEIYJ***, CEI**, CEIYJ**)

d) If you choose the AERC 50->100 elevator, you can't do any of the FEI

e) the CEI** (and CEIYJ**) events will cost $20 (the USEF Manditory Drug
Testing Fee) more than the AERC 50 division AND, if you are not a member of
USEF, you may enter the event by paying an additional $25 to USEF for a single
event membership. (See USEF Rules)

f) Anyone entering any of the FEI divisions MUST HAVE THEIR FEI Rider and
Equine Registration Numbers assigned prior to entering the event!! You can get
the forms from USEF at: (It takes FOUR (4) weeks for this to happen, so you
only have 5 weeks left to procrastinate!!)

Those who THINK they have FEI registration numbers may verify it here:

You MUST have these numbers BEFORE you can enter any of the FEI Divisions!!!

g) All FEI *** divisions require that you must have paid your 2006 USEF
International High Performance Dues BEFORE you will be allowed to enter. We
have very limited ability to verify if you have/have-not done this. I will
receive a list of those who have paid for 2006 on Monday, 15May. If you are NOT
on the list by that time it will be diffuclt.

h) All equines must have current Coggins and Health Certificates as required by
Idaho for travel

i) All FEI equines must meet requirements for Passport and vaccinations as
required by USEF for international competitions.
