Re: [RC] Ladies Only - Lady Monalaina

They are called Insteads and I have only found them sold at CVS on the East coast. I love them because you can actually wear it for 12 hours without changing it and there is also a lack of anything to rub you raw on a long ride. J

Do they still have those cup type of things? Some name like Assure or something? It was like a diaphram but it went up there and stopped the flow rather nicely. It was in the tampon aisle. Before my hysterecomy, I used those and could exercise/run/ride for couple hours. They help with clots and heavy flow. Do they still make those? Great invention. The 2nd greatest invention is a hysterectomy! Not to have a period is the most amazing thing. Had twin babies, got fibroids and was happy to get rid of my uterus.

Oh, Heidi.  I would have to describe my second day as hemorraging.  OB makes a "super duper" tampon that comes in the purple box.  It is as big as a 12 guage shotgun shell.  On my worst day, that will work for an hour and a half.  I can blow through a Tampax super plus tampon in 1/2 hour.  So that gives you a frame of reference.  At 46, I am really looking forward to menopause.
