[RC] My geldings are gay - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Skyla temposmom@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Couldn't keep my mouth shut any longer. :oP We had a 3 year old whole male Arab colt, about 14.2 hands tall. The guy next to us had these huge Quarter horse geldings, and one would back up to the fence line, squat, squeal, tease, and beg at our colt. Pretty odd if you ask me. There were two different geldings that had gotten loose, and broke in with the colt. To my horror, one of the geldings was happily "standing" for the colt. We had pastured mares with this colt that were far less hussy then these two geldings were. :oP I was never so glad to have that colt gelded, nothing like the neighbors horses, both mares AND geldings, constantly breaking down the fences to get in with him. Some came from as far as 1 mile away to be with our young boy. Sheesh. Yet he never left his own yard, guess he didn't need to.
