RE: [RC] Why do horses drink out of mud puddles? Please post your an swer :) - Susan

I've heard it said horses like muddy water because of the minerals.  I've not analyzed muddy water myself and possess no factual knowledge of this.  My horses like muddy water just fine leading me to believe...well...nothing.  They drink because they're thirsty.
