[RC] Aussie Saddle - David Harper

I have a green broke 3 year old Arab that I'm about to start riding. I
hope to use for endurance in the future, but that is a lot of training,
conditioning and trail rides away. I plan to eventually go to an
English saddle with this guy, but I'm considering an Australian saddle
for these first spooky few years. This guy is big and strong, and I
know I'll likely end up on my butt more than once. I know the Syd
Hill's are very well thought of, but I hate to spend that much,
especially since I don't know for sure I will like a saddle of this
type and he's so young. I'd rather wait till this guy fills out, is
conditioned, and ready to compete to spend big dollars on a saddle if I
want to do that. Does anyone have any thought on the Down Under
Longreach or Kimberly Lite Rider, and also the RideAbout Endurance from
Kates. These are $500 to $800 saddles, made in Asia I believe, (not
India). How will these hold up? Are they decent saddles? Feel free to
e-mail privatly if you prefer.
