[RC] 10K/5K member/horse miles updated--AMAZING!! - Karla Watson

Trilby Peterson. Ok you guys go look up her record. You won't believe it. Check out 1986 when she rode 7700 miles in one year. She did 7 days of 50 milers in a row, then the very next day went and did Tevis and finished. Then did another 100 miler the next weekend. Now that is just bloody amazing. Now lets just call her Superwoman! This was back before riding tights, sheepskin and ibuprofen. Many times she did a 50 miler followed by a 100 miler the next day, weekend after weekend after weekend, hardly any pulls at all. 108 rides that year with 28 of them being 100 milers. 1989-64 rides no pulls. 1990-80 rides no pulls. 1991-65 rides no pulls. And that sort of thing goes on for many years. I honestly don't think we have riders like this anymore. If we do, then they deserve a big gold medal for being so tough and having the most amazing endurance. My hats off to you Trilby. I've looked up lots of records over the years. Yours is one of the most impressive.
