Re: [RC] And you got to the ride HOW? ie debrie on roads? - Mary Ann Spencer

Interesting that should be of concern only when someone is seriously injured.  In TX here, the truck in front of me ran over a short 2X4 and it hit my driver's side windshield.  Luckily had a bunch of mail on the dashboard and it cushioned part of the blow and only the windshield was damaged.  The state police could have cared less.  Insurance company just took the info and fixed the windshield.

Perhaps we need to use the 911 part of our cell phones more.  Sat was the first time I used mine while I was tracking my runaway horse.

Consideration of others should never be out of vogue.  mas

Have you called the State Patrol about the road debris? Here is Washington
state several people were SERIOUSLY injured by road debris last year, and
the police were all over it. The media made a big deal about reporting
debris and about following the story about how the police were tracking down
the truck that lost one piece because they were criminally liable for the
DEATH they caused.

Check with the police. You might get your truck paid for after all!

Melissa, who had an "aluminum form" from a builder's truck obliterate her
windshield last summer but was thankfully unharmed
