I got my very plain bay mare freeze branded on the neck by Kryo Kinetics -

They use the animal's registration number. I assume if you have a grade horse, 
they come up with a
unique identifier for that horse.

They have afffilates throughout the country who provide the freeze branding 
service. A bunch of us
got together and split the farm call fee.
