[RC] hauling I-5 - Krista SnyderHi everyone! I'm a NW rider down in beautiful Arizona for a few months. Now it's time to head back north to Eugene and I would like to know if anyone has tips about I-5. We'll be leaving this Wednesday. Our first stop will be around Palm Springs. We're staying the night at Los Banos Creek Reservoir. (I know, a horse camp named after a bathroom doesn't sound promising, but all we need is a place to get off the road for the night.) The camp is just off I-5 in between the Bakersfield exit and Sacramento. Does anyone out there know that drive well enough to offer advice as to where the best places are to stop, unload horses, etc?
