Re: [RC] Which horse to buy? - Chris Paus

I'm thinking my young Arab mare I'm fitting up will be a multi day horse. I've never before had a horse who loves to be ridden so much! No matter how much we've done, if I go out in the field with a bridle, she comes right up to me and wants to go again!

If you are looking for a multiday prospect in particular, you should
find a horse or mule, you LOVE spending time with. After all you
will be spending ALOT of time together, so you both should really
like each other. Good attitude, conformation that lends itself to
soundness, and a truly enjoyable companion. After that, the "breed" is a preference thing. IF you have large aspirations
you will want to be extra picky with the "doing ability factor".
If riding for the sake of riding is your hearts desire, you have
it easy. :o)
