First, stop making excuses just because he is an ex-race horse. :) :) :)

It turns out, that if you visit the back track when the horses are being worked
each morning, they know and are taught a lot about being good under saddle.
They HAVE to be.


I can always tell an exx-race horse. They are the ones with the good ground manners. They are the ones that don't get all upset when a four wheeler comes by. They are the ones that keep their brains when others are losing theirs. The see a lot, do a lot and a lot is expected of them on the track. Being around the track is good brain training for them.
