I have one of the original prototypes of the Skito pad when they were first going to make them. It is just the inserts covered with a fabric. Once I loaned it to someone at Washoe and when she put it on her horse it broke in half cause it was so cold. Didn't hurt it though. I still use it once in a while.....mb
